With fantasy monsters, there are no 'wrong' colors! Encourage your child to be bold and use unusual color combinations – pink monsters, green dots, or blue horns are explicitly welcome here. This fosters creativity and breaking away from conventions.
The large areas are ideal for small hands. Show your child how to work with short, small strokes or use larger crayons. Praise their attempt to stay within the lines, but emphasize that the joy of coloring and personal expression are most important.
